Grand Prix

The Oconee Road Runners Club announces an Informal Grand Prix:

The 2011 Golden Corner Grand Prix

How does it work?
You score points by finishing, winning, or placing in running events in Oconee county in 2011. At the end of the year the person with the most points wins.

Wins what?
prestige and bragging rights, maybe a trophy or plaque

Which events count?
all races in Oconee county that are open to the public, and any runs anywhere sponsored by Oconee Road Runners Club

Do you have to be a member of the road runners club? A resident of Oconee? Sign up or pay anything?
nope, nope, and nopety-nope. (Maybe in 2012 it might be just club members.)

So, what do I have to do?
After a race, send us an email with your name and what you did that earned points: won the race, placed 3rd in your age group, finished ... see complete scoring details and other fine print on the Grand Prix page.
